# ZFOG — Pinellas sports and things to do

Static calendar for [zfog.com](https://zfog.com): home games and dated activities in Pinellas County (St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Dunedin, Pinellas Park, beaches).

No build step. Open `index.html` via `file://` or any static server.

## Rules (do not break)

- **Do not invent events.** Every dated listing must appear in `/workspace/pinellas-events.md`.
- Pinellas venues only. High school **home** games in Pinellas are the priority. Notable away games of Pinellas schools are listed only when the venue is still in Pinellas and the portal row is official.
- Do not invent high-school or college games, scores, times, or venues. If a school has no verified upcoming date, omit it.
- **Do not list Clearwater Threshers** unless a new official schedule/API row exists.
- **Do not publish Ann Wilson** until an official event-detail page has a date.
- Saturday Morning Market and Kenwood Sunday Market are **closed all of September**.
- Ticket buttons use official URLs from the dump (MLB, Rowdies, MiLB, Ruth Eckerd Hall, Mahaffey, Jannus, city pages). ZFOG does not sell tickets.
- Parking and box-office notes come from official venue/city pages in `data/parking.json`. Do not invent lots, prices, addresses, or shuttles.
- Sponsor slots stay empty until a real advertiser exists. No fake businesses.

2. Update `/workspace/pinellas-events.md` first (verified dump).
3. Edit `data/events.json` (or `data/_build_schools.py` then re-run it, then `data/_render_pages.py`) to match the dump field-for-field.
4. Run `python3 data/_render_pages.py` to regenerate the HTML pages (including parking.html and schools.html).
5. Sanity-check: every dated title + date on the pages still appears in the dump.
6. Set footer **Last updated** to the research date.

Suggested poll cadence is in the dump (Rays/MiLB 2–4× daily in-season; venue HTML daily; markets weekly).
